From the LooPS VAULT - THE NEXT SINGLE BC Tour 2022

“The Next Single” BC Tour

November 13th – December 10th 2022

In fall 2022, plans were made to record the next LooPS single “Last Goodbye” at the esteemed Echoplant Studios in Vancouver BC with Producer/Engineer David Ziehr. With a studio session planned for November 28th to 30th, the guys built their first major tour throughout BC around the studio time working on the single.

They started out in Kamloops, playing a Christmas event at the Coast Hotel, and played all over the Okanagan, the Kootenays, downtown Vancouver and Vancouver Island, before ending the tour on December 10th back in Kamloops.

Along the way, they played some pretty eventful shows, including The Roxy for the 3rd time in 2022, played a show with up and coming BC singer songwriter Peter McMaster in Victoria, and had 2022 American Idol top 20 singer Cameron Whitcomb as a special guest for their tour concluding show. Jon and Kevin chose Pizza Pi as their concluding venue specifically to mark the 3rd anniversary of the location being the first ones to take a chance on LooPS as a new duo and give them a venue to perform at.

Special limited edition tour shirts were made which had the LooPS debut album cover on the front, and the tour dates on the back. Posters were also printed, of which you can see one in the pic above.

The tour conclusion also garnered media interest and a story was written in the Kamloops This Week publication which covered the tour, the studio session and goals for the future (see below).

From the LooPS VAULT - Our Debut Album Release Party

The Effie Arts Collective

Feb. 25 2022 | Kamloops BC | 7-11PM

L∞PS released their debut album on Feb 25th 2022, and celebrated alongside one of the best musicians in the area! L∞PS were very proud to team up with Jeremy Kneeshaw and The Effie Arts Collective to give everyone attending a special one of a kind evening filled with music, stories and emotions. For one show only, L∞PS played their entire album from start to finish, telling stories of each song from the album and why they’re so special. The evening wraped up with L∞PS featuring local artist, Jeremy Kneeshaw playing together as a trio, where all the musicians played their favourite songs as a group to finish out the night!

Special merchandise was made for the event and gift bundles were also for sale including an Album Release Party T-Shirt (numbered out of 50), CD copy of the album and facemask.

Consisting of both lead vocalist Kevin Roy and instrumentalist/vocalist Jon Fennell, L∞PS are currently establishing themselves as the top up and coming act in BC Canada. Their anticipated debut album, L∞PS, is set to be released on all digital streaming services on February 25th, 2022. Recorded with BC Music Hall of Famer and Grammy nominated producer Doug Cox, their album is a throwback to the classic albums of the past in that it is a true no-skip record and full of both upbeat radio friendly jams, and soulful story driven ballads. As singer/songwriters in the truest sense of the word, they write and compose all of their original material and for LIVE performances they take pride in their original takes on cover songs which include creative mashups that always entertain crowds! The duo perform an acoustic guitar and piano based style with loop pedals incorporated into their sets. Best described as a mix of Ed Sheeran & Lewis Capaldi, L∞PS have a library of literally hundreds of songs they perform from the 1960s to current top 40 hits.

Jeremy Kneeshaw is a songwriter and performer who made the leap from a full time Carpenter to musician in 2015. From early beginnings in piano at the age of 2, music has been his passion for his entire life; playing Guitar, Piano, Drums, Bass, Mandolin, Banjo, Flute, Accordion and more. Having released his first album at 19, the self titled ‘Jeremy Kneeshaw Album’ recorded entirely by Jeremy himself, he won the Akedamia Jazz/Funk/Fusion award for November 2016, and was given a spot at the Akedamia Awards Ceremony at the Rosebowl Stadium in LA. Now, he, his duos, and his trio are working to take over the western Canada and US music scenes to inspire a younger generation of upcoming musicians to follow their passions.

The Effie Arts Collective is Kamloops’ newest event venue offering a place for the community to gather together and experience “Collective Effervescence” – a sociological phenomenon where members of an audience experience the same feeling at the same time while watching a live performance like a comedy show, concert, or play.
